Horse / Animal Sponsorship Program
Most of our horses and animals come from a neglected and abused background. Without them our program does not exist. These animals, once lonely, hurting, looking for affection and a friend, are now cared for by children, who have been and are in the same position. What the horses and animals have gone through enables them to help the children in a special way. We call them ” Horse/Animal Mentors”.
Purpose Farm is a new safe home giving each one of the animals a new purpose in life. We train our horses with a natural horsemanship approach. We believe that every animal here is a part of our “family” and treat them with gentleness, kindness, and most importantly respect.

Please consider sponsoring one of our "Horse/Animal Mentors." Choose a sponsorship level, which will ensure quality care to our horses/animals and allow us to continue this program FREE OF CHARGE, for the children who depend on coming here. Your sponsorship will provide aid for the following:
Here are the different levels of sponsorship;
o Grand Champion $200.00 per month for 12 months sponsors an animal in full for the year !
o Champion $100.00 per month for 12 months sponsors an animal for 50% of their care for the year.
o Reserve Champion $50.00 per month for 12 months sponsors an animal for 25% of their care for the year.
o First Place $__________ per month for 12 months
As a thank you for sponsoring our animals we will send you a photo via email of your Horse/Animal Mentor. We would also like to invite you to set up a visit with your sponsored animal after 4 months of sponsorship is completed. You will be able to meet, groom and spend time with the sponsored animal. To become a sponsor, click here to complete the Horse/Animal Sponsorship form and email to animalsponsorship@purosefarm.org or mail to Purpose Farm 1454 West Genesee Rd, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Click on each animal to choose who you want to sponsor. Horses, Alpacas, Pigs, Birds, Dog and Goats. You can contact one of our volunteers at animalsponsorship@purposefarm.org with any questions.
This agreement in no way entitles sponsor to ownership and/or exclusive privileges in any way to sponsored animal or Farm property. Purpose Farm accepts all liability, expressed and/or implied, for sponsored equine. Sponsor has the right to cancel this agreement with a 30 day notice to Purpose Farm administration. All monies received from sponsor to date of cancellation remain the property of Purpose Farm. Please note that there may be more than one sponsor per animal. This is to ensure that all of our animals are cared for equally, as the funds go into an account to support all of the animals.
- Daily hay and grain as needed
- Vitamins and supplements as needed
- Regular preventative vaccinations
- Professional farrier trimming and shoeing as needed
- Regular dental care as needed
- Tack and equipment replacement and repair
- Emergency Vet Care
- Regular worming of all animals
- Alpacas yearly shearing
- Countless hours one-on-one with a child and leader
- Lots of grooming, baths, carrots and apples
